 One day when he is by himself (none of his mates around him), go up to him and have a little chat with him. Y'know about stuff in general, nothing in particular. Like "Hey. How's it going?" Keep having these chats over a period of time, get to know him on a one to one level. Then somewhere in one of these conversations (when it is appropriate) give him a compliment. A compliment so nice that it becomes obvious that you fancy him. Drop hints for a while, (I'm talking about MAJOR hints). Then just out right tell him you like him and ask him out. Don't be scared. You have nothing to loose!
