I called my girlfriend (for a year) my exes name (they name sound very alike) while making love a few times. She gets upset every time when this happen cause she thinks im still thinking about her sexually (which I don't). We manage to patch things after I give her 2 or 3 days to calm down cause we agree it would be pretty stupid break up over this. Is a way to avoid this? I don't want to hurt her again.

Ebony is right, make up a nickname just for her and use that.

Either that or stop using her name during sex.

You HAVE to get this sorted as it would be INCREDIBLY hurtful to do this, and stupid as it is, it could hurt her to the point where she doesn't want to be hurt any more and leaves you.

Good Luck!! xx

Do you have a nickname for your girlfriend? If not maybe you should make one up =]
