I recently asked for help about how I had aspirations and feelings/dreams that I would be an actor, rich..etc.. and that I felt that I could make it happen. But so far, I still have the feelings, but I dont have the means - I dont know how to begin. I realise this is a relationship advice place, but there may be some info you could pass on to me?

do you only want to be an actor because you think that will make you rich? if so, it sounds like you don't have dreams of becoming an actor, but you have dreams of becoming rich and famous. both very narcissistic dreams.

if you want to be a actor, start auditionning for plays, commericals, etc. locally. i do not think that you need to do anything drastic to begin with if you are interested in pursuing a dream as an actor like move away or anything. if ir is meant to be and you work hard at it, it will happen. if it is the money you are after, good luck! fame does not usually come quicly or easily!

kellyO agony auntDear, is always good to have a dream. You can build towards that dream.

You need to be sure of what u want to be. what really interest u so u dont get bored of doing ur job or fail along the way.If u are sure u want to become an actor then i think first u need to consider going to acting school, theatre acts in university or start taking up acting lessons. After this u can start accepting role in commercials,tv series, and films. Even if u dont have a large role to start with u can gain some experience in smaller role which can lead to u having larger ones. What u must know is that the industry is highly competitive but if u can work hard and acquire a lot of experience i think u can make it.

You also have to belief in yourself and ability to suceed in this area. Show enthusiasm and drive to be a compete with alot of other young aspiring actors in the field.

Also, if u want to be rich u can to be able to invest whatever income u get properly. u can take alot of business and management courses to help u with this. i am an engineer but i took some of this courses also to help me manager my affairs.

Take care, all the best.

First of all being an actor does not necessarily mean you will be rich ! However if you really have dreams of being an actor then follow the dream. You should enrol in some acting classes or Drama clubs to increase your confidence . Most actors who want to audition for stage schools/ Drama schools also take dance lessons or singing lessons to increase their versatility .As an actor your body and voice has to be trained !

Don't worry about not having enough money to train ..go on the web and find out about scholarships and training schemes that are subsidised .

Above all....don't give up ! actors need determination and self- belief as well as raw talent. If acting is your dream then nothing should stand in your way !
