 Here's what you do:
1. Sit him down and sit on his knee with your phone.
2. Tell him how sorry you are for texting your ex behind his back and that you want to make it up to him and prove that you wont do it again.
3. Let him watch you delete your ex's number and all other content from him from your phone.
4. Once that's done give him a kiss, say you're sorry and that it won't happen again. You're already sat on his lap so you can have some kisses and cuddles there and then.
I'm sure that'll make him see that you're serious about making it up to him.
