Hi Cupids--

My exbf (together 4 months) and I broke up last Thursday and my friend (2 years older) asked me to prom on Saturday and it's next Saturday. I love my exbf very much. I haven't had an appetite for these 3 days, and we had a fight today and it made me physically ill. My friend helped me through my breakdown and stayed with me.

When my ex found out I was going to prom with this guy he flipped out and got really mean and sarcastic to me (he's never done that to me before). This is when I fell ill.

I really love my ex still, we broke up because he didn't have time to spend with me and it wasn't fair to me. He still loves me. I wanna get my mind off him and I figured prom would help.

How do I not feel guilty about going to prom? I wanna have a great time!

Thank you so much!!!!

Thank you! My ex is claiming that he's not jealous, but in fact just caught off guard. I don't believe him.

I will NOT let him ruin prom for me, hahaha!

Would it be wise to go back to being friends with my ex so soon? Or... Not so much?
