reader, anonymous, writes (17 July 2007): i am 13 years old and i have the same problem. part of the reason i have stretch marks is because i am so tall and have been since first grade and the other part of the reason is because it runs in my family. it helps to use creams sometimes but mostly the stretch marks are their for good unless you get surgery.

Depending on your growth and the rate of it as well as genetics; this will dictate if you get stretchmarks and to what severity.
There are creams out there and you can talk to you family doctor about what you can use to "temper" them.
They will fade with time and most men hardly notice them or even care about them.
So no worries.

You get them if you gain or loose weight quickly. I've got them on my small of my back go to the doctors and they will give you sum cream.

reader, anonymous, writes (16 August 2006): Hey Im the same age as you and coinsedentally(?) I have the same problem. My mum brought me a bottle of Bio Oil, I dont think its cheap but it isn't too expensive niether. It really does work, all you have to do is pour 4-5 drops in the bath and it works like magic! Hope to of helped x
