How do I get my long-distance fiance to reciprocate more?

Question - (17 March 2010) 1 Answers - (Newest, 22 March 2010)
A female United Kingdom age 41-50, *lueclearsoul writes:

My fiance and i are far away for the moment. He is living in usa and i am living in uk.

The situation is difficult because there is 8 hours of difference, so we try to chat with the webcam as much as we can.

However i feel like i have a lot of romantic details and try to do the situation less difficult, but it seems like he doesnt. For example i send him letters by post once in a while, i wrote him poems, and for special ocasions i send him a gift.

I have to admit he is nice and he is sometimes romantic, but im really upset that he has not send any letter or gift, or even a e-card for st valentin or my birthday.

He did talk to me by skype. I am wondering if i am asking to much or it is ok.Thanks

Entirely Unique agony auntHas he ever been a kind of person to do that kind of thing and its stopped or has he just never done it?

Some of us are romantic and do all we can to show it and some people aren't or don't always think about those kind of things and believe the way they're showing how they feel is enough and if it really does bother you then maybe try talking to him.
