Hi, I'm would like to know how to get my baby daddy (Jim) back? I want us to be a traditional family and one day get married. We have known each other since we were 13 and had a child together at 25. We have been there for each other for a lot of ups and downs! We broke up when my son was 1 cause Jim said he need time and space. Jim became distant and was around us much anymore. So me and my son moved out. We have been broken up for about a year now. Jim is a Dj and is around women all the time. I ask him all the time is it because you want to f around and it always a no. He does have a girl who says she loves him. She all on myspace with pic of her and Jim on her page. I also know she frequents his house a lot. They only day we see each other is for sunday dinner. Other then that he doesn't call me or text me. He sees his son 3 days out the week. I just don't know what to do anymore. I really do love him and want my family back! How do I get him to come back to a family that will always love him and commit to us? Thank you for any advice!!!

petina1 agony aunt He sounds like he is doing right by his son. He's in a good routine. He has a lady friend. Unless something major has changed in your circumstances he may be afraid to go back to what you had and which caused you to break up. If you could address that issue and find out the route of why you split up, you may be able to show him that things arent like that anymore and he may think it's a good idea to try again. You have known each other for such a long time, he may just want to see what else is out there and then maybe one day will realize what he has, a family that love him. It could take a long time. Dj's usually have the pick of the bunch and he may not want to change that for the moment.
