reader, anonymous, writes (5 September 2009): Ask her out, by all means ("propose" her, as you call it :)), but don't set your heart on her too much - by the sounds of it, she is already into another guy, I'm afraid. But give it a try anyway, there's nothing to lose. If she doesn't want to date you, don't stress over it too much (trust me, I am 2 years older than you and people our age do tend to fall in love a lot). Good luck!
