 Simply by the communication. If hes talking to you and its positive and sweet talk then he genuinly likes you.

Well, he pays a lot of attention to you - depending on how mature he is - sometimes he will avoid you if he's immature. He tries to be around to a lot...maybe notes, messages from friends to you...it's really not a "secret code" among boys. It's very individual.
