How do I control the rumor mill?

i have been talking to this guy for about a week now and he told me likes me and i like him to. i told 2 of my friends but heres the problem they told someone who told someone and so on. i hate it when my buissness is known by the world and i dont want to hurt peoples feelings!

how do i tell poeple without it getting around and without people getting mad at me in the process?

Unfortunately there's no way to "control" gossip/rumors. Sometimes you just have to wait until it all dies down and goes away. Eventually someone else becomes the target of all the gossip and the gossip about you will be forgotten. For the time being, just hold your head high and don't let it get to you. Best of luck!
