My best friend since I was 16 has been a girl called Julia. We were friends all through elementary school but in high school we got really close and became best friends. She had a boyfriend "Mark" who she dated since we were 16 and he has always been a jerk to her, he cheated on her several times, would ditch her for his friedns and treated her crappy all the time. I ended up getting feeling for her in senior yr but never told her because I was to chicken I guess. She finally broke up with "Mark" just before christmas and I really want to tell ehr how I feel but I dont know how. How can I show her that I like her and that we woudl be great together

A male reader, sb4100 United Kingdom +, writes (11 May 2011):

chat to her about it, if i was you take her out maybe a meal and find a way to talk to her about how you feel, it depends on the type of girl she is. during the meal make hints, little comments about her, and then say to her.

just make sure you tell her before its too late as otherwise she may find someone else, its better to say to her about how you feel than wait not knowing.
