reader, anonymous, writes (6 January 2010): I am surprised to find that some one else likes there cousin like I did. Yep, I to was star struck by a cousin. He was so handsome and I loved his humor. We got along so well. I even kissed him when I was 3. As time went on I realized what I was more than crushing and I was worried I might actually say I loved him. I had to sit back, take a deep breath, and aid to myself. THIS IS NOT HEALTHY.I was VERY sad back then. But I feel great today! I even like some one else. Yes, when we have family parties I do see him across the room and say. " Geez, he is so awesome." But i say also. " He is not mine to love." And turn around.Isn't it strange that a cousin is family and yet they are hardly around and it seems like they are just friends of the family instead of APART of the family? Anyway, I started seeing him as a brother and things in my heart/head calmed down. Hope this helped!

You are young and its just a phase... you will regret it and feel ashamed for the rest of your life if you do something about it and he is family too! You are stuck with them!! Just go out and find some one who isnt blood related!!!

reader, anonymous, writes (5 January 2010): I know what your going through, but no matter how hard it is to try and steer clear from your cousin and try ignoring your feelings for them, its better that u try distancing yourself cause it might turn out that u get hurt badly if u have to stop it later on.
