I really like him but I think he thinks of me as a little sister. You can only show him you are "dateable" by dating. You are in college and there is no reason that you should have to tell him this, why wouldn't you be dateable? This guy already knows if he is attracted to you or not, believe me. Start flirting with him and see how he responds!

reader, anonymous, writes (1 May 2008): I think what you need to do is either:a) make your feelings clear for him if you think he'll react positivelyb) stop being friends with him if it is hurting yourself, and perhaps try a different approach with him? suggest going out in the evening etc. and hopefully he'll get the messageremember that he may turn around and want to just remain friends, which i think is really hard to accept but it may be worth just keeping him as a friend or brother material.don't try and get with another guy and score for jealousy, you may end up driving him away completely.hope this helps, and good luckxox
