He is of the mentality that it means more than i am letting on.

It was a rocky relationship, full of interruptions and complications from his mother.

It ended badly, even though we did try to remain friends.

But its been a year almost now, and a few days i saw him in his car, and vice versa.

I want to just show that if he wants to be friends now, we can be?

Thanx

If you know he's going to take it as more than what it is then why would you even want to email him? He is going to think you want him back no matter how lightly you tread...He wants you back, if you don't want him back then just let it go.

it really all depends on why you want to try to be his friend because i know if i still had feeling and she contacted me i would still try to get back with her no matter what but thats me

Royofthe Rovers agony auntI would maybe tread carefully with this.

If he wanted any kind of contact with you for friendship he would of maybe of made the first move. It very possible that he doesnt want to due to his feelings for you still remaining.

By all means e-mail him. If you do keep it short and the less personal the better.
