wow!! a couple of months i was in exactly the same position as you are now!! the main thing is that you two talk. i really liked this guy but i wasnt sure if he liked me until we got talking. do your friends know this guy or do his friends know our friends? my friends got to know this guy and they found out whether he liked me or not. it dusnt matter if he dusnt ask you out straight away. i thought i was really stupid cus on msn i told this guy i fancied him and he was like ok yh k and i thought id blown it cus he didnt say whether he fancied me or not. it turned out he did fancy me and asked me ou the next week!kk im waffling on here lol but anyway this guy might be shy.. the guy i like is really shy and he always blushed like mad when he speaks to me and he gets really fidgety. does this guy behave differenly with you than when hes around other girls? if so then thats a definiete sign that he likes you. please let me know what happens and let me know if there are any other things he does. hope this helps. soz its so long!!

well. how old is this guy? if he's the same age as u then he prob can be pretty shy. maybe u can start the ball rolling by writing him a note or 2? and see if he responds.
if he doesn't ask you out, then drop him some hints. for eg, text him and ask how was his day and stuff. and naturally, " its fine" or something like that. then you say, " sigh, i'm so bored, and i have absoultely nothing to do for the whole evening!! help me please! haha" or something like that.
no 2 ways about. u gotta swallow a TINEY wee bit of pride if u wanna get to know him better. esp if he is shy. but if u have to swallow a lot of pride, then make sure he hell as hell is worth it (:
