Like said above, the easiest way to get a girls attention is talking to her. Is she in any of your classes? Try to find a common ground to talk about, and do pay her a couple of compliments. Nothing too overboard, or she´ll think you're paying her out. Just something like "Your hair looks good today" or "Is that a new top? It suits you.".
Not all girls go for guys with good looks, while that is a factor i can say that personality plays a very big part too, and a girl always loves attention.

reader, anonymous, writes (15 August 2007): She's the cutest girl in school. Imagine how many other guys in your school like her too. At your age, looks are important, which is really superficial. Why not like a girl who you get along really well with? If you only like her b/c she's he cutest girl in the school, I'm afraid it's not going to go very far, but if you must try to get her attention, just go up & talk to her. Give her a compliment. Tell her she was good in the last game (I assume she's a cheerleader) or say you like her outfit. Anything..then see how she reacts. She may think you're weird for all I know but you got to try.
