Sweet-thing agony auntFirst you have to respect yourself. You have to have standards and stick with them. Then you show respect to others and after awhile, you earn respect from others.

This is a difficult question. I think you have to ask yourself, how does a guy earn your respect? Normally, the answer is honestly.

Guys are human beings too. They react to a lot of the same stuff women react to. They like a woman that is comfortable in her own skin (confident but not arrogant) and someone who is true to herself as well to others. It is easy to spot someone who is putting on acts of being something he/she is not.

So, if you want a guy's respect, first respect yourself and be at ease. Then be respectful to other people, and I am sure the guy that you are wanting to impress will notice you.
