How can I convince my dad that I should marry this man?

i need a help.i've been with this gy who is an indian muslim.but im a hindhu.but ow my dad disagree to our love.we are planning to get married in 3 years.ive to overcome this.is there any ways i can talk things out with my dad.but he have already convert to a hindhu.he is no more a muslim.his mum divorced that muslim husband n now she is wit a hindhu.he have to change his name in his ic.will that be possible in singapore..please advice
