writes:I am 21 years old. I have never had a proper boyfriend and only been on 1 date in the last years and he turned out to be a real idiot. I have very low self esteem and find it really hard to meet new people. I have tried chat sites but always back out when it comes to meeting up through fear of them not being who they say they are and them not finding me how they expected. Is there anything i can do to improve my confidence and will i ever find that some one??

 Get involved with a community project, do some volunteering, join a club, in other words get out there and be visible. You will get to know people and the network begins to grow. You'll find that special guy and you will make lots of good friends in the process.
