He doesn't know that I am so inexperienced and I don't want to tell him.

A "very experienced" guy chasing a very INexperienced girl? That can indicate that he likes to "conquer" if you know what I mean. It may seem totally foreign to you, but some guys (not all, some) just love being the first or at least one of the earliest. This is often motivation enough for this type of guy to spend several weeks/months dating someone. Just for the challenge of it.
If at any point you ever start thinking that you might just be getting told what you want to hear, then you probably are.
