Hi

i have fallen for someone who is 14 years older than me,at the time that i started to develop my feelings for him, i didn't know that he had a girlfriend. his girlfriend lives and works away. we have spent nights together, cuddling and kissing, and feel that it could have easily gone further. he recently told me about his girlfriend, as she was comming up to visit, when she returned, he was soon following after me. he has told me he has feelings for me, and i have told him how i feel. i dont want to loose him as a friend, but is he using me for what he doesnt get when his girlfriend is away, or is he being a genuine guy?

rcn agony auntHe sure is. If he had the feelings for you that he has, he'd end it with his girlfriend and have a relationship only with you. If offered what would you choose, two flavors of ice cream, or just one.

You need to tell him, me or her. Make a choice and if you have to think about it, you know the answer and say goodbye. As far as the friendship. If he was a true friend, you wouldn't be in this position in the first place. True friends protect the feelings of others. To date you behind his gf's back leave it open to question.

Tell him to choose, you or her. Don't let yourself be used this way.

Why spend your energy on the type guy that would treat a girlfriend as he does?
