writes:I have liked this guy for a year now, and, even though I'm not around him almost ever, i still can't get over him. And i really really like him, but he doesn't like me. Now I want to forget about him and move on, which is really hard to do when you only have three guy friends(including him) and you're a homeschooler that only sees homeschool buddies once a month.We used to go to the same church, now since i've switched churches, i don't see him unless its a gospel meeting there. I want BADLY to move on, but I can't find anyone I like. PLEASE HELP ME!!

i know how you feel......ive been through exactly the same thing many times. there really is nothing you can do except just try to think rationally.
is he really worth all of this pain and frustration your feeling??.....lets face it...he's made it clear he doesnt like you...and although that may be hard to accept....what is the point getting yourself worked up over him if nothing is going to come of it?
and as for finding someone else you like....stop looking...i made the same mistake...kept looking for someone else hoping that i'd find someone....but i never did....until i stopped looking......i just forgot about the guy that i was so caught up on (because i realised there was no point getting myself so worked up over him), and i just enjoyed being single. then i randomly met my now boyfriend and we've been happy together for a few months......
my point is...if you stop looking for someone....you'll eventually meet someone who makes you smile....and im not saying it will happen straight away, but when it does, you'll be glad you spent that time enjoying being single and having fun.
seriousley...this guy is really not worth it...maybe you are just better off being good friends...and the sooner you accept that, the sooner you'll just forget about him in that way
