chigirl agony auntYour skin cells die and new skin cells are made every day. Scars, or red areas, will fade, or disappear, in time. You can wash your face with a light peeler to remove dead skin cells and reveal the new ones. But it's a natural process that takes time. You should try a good foundation or cover stick that matches your skin tone well. If it matches your skin well you can apply it only to the areas that are red or have scars, and leave the rest of the face without make-up. It is recommended that you don't cover your entire face in foundation or heavy powder, as that will make it look like you are wearing a mask.

Drink water, do sports, be active, and get a natural tanned skin as a result of being outdoors. That always looks attractive, and when you feel healthy on the inside you will look better on the outside as well and not feel like rubbish.

Once again thank you everyone for you excellent advice its really appriciated so thank you!

This is for answering 'chigir' question and anyone else that is interested, The medication I am taking at the moment is called co-cyprindiol.

My previous medication have been ziynet, duac once daily and the stuff I am currently on. I hope 3 month passes quickly its not that I'm getting that many new spots it just the red that are left from previous and there on my cheeks there quite small I don't pick at them though I hope they go soon. I also have one on my forehead but about 5 red marks for pervious. When I wear make (which isn't much it covers them all but I don't want to have to wear make up but I'm really concious of them, it makes me feel rubbish :-(

Hello, well i had the same problem three years ago i tried everything and nothing worked except exfoliation its great now theres the garnier 3 in 1 its a face mask for exfoliating (twice a week max) scrub for blackheads and scars (twice a week) and the daily face wash. This is the best... It works perfectly, but first of all and the most important thing is that u should now ur face type... And according to that ill help u find a good treatment the garnier works on every type of face but for a more promising result its better to get a special cream and most importantly you must wear a sunscreen on your face whenever u go out of the house the sun is the skins number one enemy... Hope that this comment helps:D tc and goodluck for u and ur fiance

chigirl agony auntWhat medication are you on? If it is Isotretinoin then I can guarantee you it works, but the treatment takes around 8-9 months, so you need to be patient.

YouWish agony auntIf the one you're currently on takes 3 months to work, and it hasn't been 3 months yet, stay patient! Keep working with your doctor, and you both will find the right one!

You are "seeing" these blemishes a lot more than your fiance is! Unless you're really picking at them, you'll be okay! Just don't pick at them, or pop them (yuck!), and avoid those pock marks that happens when people do! Wash your face with gentle soap, and most of all, I promise you that this is only temporary!

My husband, when he was younger, used to have these bad breakouts like you're describing. Didn't diminish my desire for him. Your fiance loves you for you. Never forget that, and when he compliments you and says you're beautiful anyways like I know he's been doing, do NOT brush it off. Tell him thank you, because you may look in the mirror and see your flaws, but he sees you as a goddess. Let him make you feel like you are one, "zits" and all!
