Help! Why is it so hard to get over him?

A female Philippines age 30-35, *pl writes:

(deep breath) this guy been my world, my best friend, my everything for 2 years and 3 months. Our break up was not formal' i text him "i need space " and then he just say "yeah if thats what you want so i will give it to you" its not my intention to hurt him' i dont understand him anymore and i dont even understand myself neither. i love him but i need to be alone. now here's my problem its been 2 months that i haven't heard about him i text him but he dont reply. i know im wrong but and i made ways to talk to him but he dont want to see me. its killing me inside. its so hard!!!!!!!

when you are friends with someone for a long while then strike up a relationship and it ends its very unlikely that you can have that same friendship again. If you want to be alone why are you trying to get in contact with him? Send him one long message telling him how you feel and leave it at that and move on. Maybe you can relight that friendship at a later date because it sounds like he's trying to get over you by not replying and its probably killing him inside everytime you text too
