A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Hello readers,

I've been struggling with a dating issue for a few weeks now. About a month+ ago, I met this amazing guy. We met at a club, I gave him my number and he wrote to me the next day. We talked for 2 hours on the phone. We went on a date, and began to hang out quite often. I'd spend the night and he took me to meet his family on Christmas Eve. He's told me things that suggested he wanted to take this further and made it seem like we are together. About 2 weeks ago, things have changed. I make the first effort in texting him and he hasn't asked to see me like he has before. I asked him to hang out the other night and he said he was at his friends. I didn't hear from him at all yesterday. The last time we saw each other was at the club 4 days ago and we spent the evening dancing together and being very couple-like. I suspected he lost interest but I am unsure how to find out if he still wants to make this work. I don't want to ruin anything before it starts. I know this sounds quite desperate, but I don't understand how someone can go from one extreme to the next within a few days. What I am asking you, readers, is should I just leave this alone and move on? Should I ask him what's going on? Should I continue to make the effort? I'm feeling quite lost. Thank you for reading.

I could do this, however, we come from two different worlds. He's from another country (he's spanish), and I'm from the US. We hit it off so well, I just wonder if it's just a misunderstanding in cultures.
