Hi, i like a boy in my class, i thort he didn't like me because he had a fling with my mate but apparently i found out and he said he really likes me, after 4 years gone he finally talked to me and he said he wanted to meet me at first i ignored him totaly, but then i thort i did like him so why not, i went to meet him and we were talking and actually getting on and then he started asking who i like, and other personal questions which i was to shy to answer, and then i jsut walked away and told him i couldn't do this, i went off and then noticed i left my bag so i had to go back, i got there got my bag and walked of ignoring him but he held my hand i turned around and told him to let me go so he did i asked why he done that he starts telling me how sorry he is and that he loves me, i was totaly shocked and then i asked him 2 repeat what he said, and he did at first i was really happy but then i thort it through and was worried if he might go off and leave me for another girl, but i was confussed so i asked him to convince me that he likes me and won't go off with some one else, this is what he done he held my hands looked at me and said i really like you/maybe even love you and then kissed me which he'd never done before to me or any one not even my mate, i was gob smacked and he convinced me at that moment he really likes me but i wanted to think it through so i told him i am convinced for now but i am going to think it through and tell you, he was totaly fine with that, we were talking in general and were walking towards my sisters car and there were a big group of boys standing and i hated gangs because thay always whistle which i really hated but i said bye to him and was going towards my sisters car and the group of boys started whistling and i freaked out, i never knew but the guy i like was cuming behind me and the group of boys started saying things to me but i ignored them and walked fast and then it got worse they started coming closer to me and saying worser things, the guy i liked spoke and the group of gang walked of with out saying anything i found that nice that he actually was looking out for me, and that he's protective. I guess my feelings grew because of that and i ran and hugged and kissed him on the cheek but didn't have no intention of doing so but i'm still worried would he leave me for some one else and was he convincing enough of how much he liked me and that he won't leave me? Please help i don't want to ruin thing with him, please help.

Try it out then. All the advice I see so far is sound. He might be giving mixed signals because it could be his first real potential relationship and not know how to handle it.

You can only do two things: Go ahead with the relationship and trust him or ignore him. It seems to me the guy really likes you. But I can't guarantee that this boy will not leave you. If you two are 10, 11 or 12 years old this relationship is most likely to end at somepoint. Because let's face it, nobody marries their pre-teenage boyfriend. If you can't deal with a possibility of a brake-up, wich is always present in a relationship, maybe you should wait until you are a little more mature to engage in a relationship with a boy.

Good Luck!

Well, you're a bit young, so if you think you're ready for a relationship with him, try it out. No one can tell you if he really likes you or would leave, you have to try it out yourself. It says you're 10-12 years old up there, how old is he?

Sounds like he really does like you after all. Glad your happy. Don't worry too much about what going to happen in the future. Give him the benieft of the doubt and take things as they come. Judge him on what he actually does (like standing up for you) and not on what your scared he mite do. :) xxx
