A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Hey

Im in my first year at uni, and ive a guy friend in my halls, we are close but only when were not in a big group which is annoying and wierd but thats just how we are.

I hadnt seen him for a while, as hes got a gf of a few months now, we all went for a meal one night and i went to the bar with him and he said i havent been myself lately, as youve probably noticed, and said that his younger brother might have cancer.

This was before easter - and he hasnt told his girlfriend or anyone else, even his close guy friends.

Hes not in my block in my halls, so i dont see him that much to find a quiet moment and see less and less of him now. I know if he wants to speak about it he will and i said for him too.

Im of course not going to tell anyone else, just would appreciate if anyone has a little advice. thank you.
