but he says things like i think you're really great just things that suggest to me he likes me more than a friend?
i need to be sure because if he does then i want to ask him out because i really like him

 Next time he says something about taking you out say
"when and where?" be sexy about it. he sounds like a nice guy. dont change thought. he likes you as you. dont try and be too sexy. just be cheeky and flirty when you say it, good luck
