I'm 14 and the guy who im in love with is 15.We have been friends through out primary school and when i started my first year of high school i fell for him. Through out that year he kept giving me signals that made me think that he liked me. When i went into Second year ( him 3rd) We went on this trip with the Geography Department to The Isle of Arran and for that whole trip we couldn't keep our eyes off each other and we kinda flirted a bit. After the trip he found out i liked him and he ignored me until May and that was only because one of my best friends * Hannah sorted things out between us.Now the complicated part!In June he started to go out with this girl * Jeni and i didn't have a problem with it as i was trying to get over him.During the summer holidays though my other best friend * Jay found out from his cousin that he Loves me and that he has some feelings for his girlfriend but he loves me more and is only going out with Jeni to get over me but it isnt working.I thought at first that she may be mistaken a game of Chinese but at school when i see him in the corridor or in the social space he stares at me, looks kinda nervous when i walk past and sometimes blushes slightly. My friends keep noticing when im talking to them that he keeps looking at me.I love him but he is still going out with *Jeni and he would deny it if i asked him about it. I don't know what to do Please Help!

reader, anonymous, writes (24 August 2008): ok hun, i agree here. your fourteen years old and in high school therefore you have no conception of romantic love. high school dating should be fun and from the sounds of it, your not having fun. stop the drama and move on. your young, you dont need a boyfriend so go on and have fun with your girlfreinds, dont waste your high school career on stupid guys because like i said, if your going to date in high school, it should be fun, not drama filled.

From what you have said, it definatlely sounds like hes into you. You can't trust the rumours 100%, but theres probably a good chance they are true. So heres my advice:Stop thinking to much about it and dont go over everything that has happened, instead you need to act now!!Find him when hes on his own, then explain that you like him, that you dont want to mess up his relationship, but you need to clear the air. Then ask him if he likes you aswell. If he says yes, ask what hes going to do about it and go from there. If the answers no, i'm sorry to say you will have to move on. If you think hes lying or something, ask him if hes sure he doesn't like you or whatever. Anyway, i think the result will be a yes.Go for it girl and good luck!x
