We had our first date yesterday and he texted me to make sure I got home safe. I told him he could text me tomorrow and he agreed he would but have not heard from him. Is there a reason he could have forgot? Am I being to needy?

Hey ,

Thats normal to be anxious for the text after such a great date and no you are not needy! However, he has his life : job, etc and he maybe a bit busy. I would hold out for a good 2 days at most and see what happens then give him a call . You dont have to let the guy do it all you know but please dont ring him excessively because that would come off as clingy, needy and desperate. All the best!

I don't think your being too " needy" as a mental health nurse I'm not that a fan of that word wither lol . People have all different expectations. His I text may be two days from your date, he may feel that he doesn't want to seem to keen .

It's early days here, so deep breathes and surrounded yourself with things you enjoy and don't put all your eggs in this basket .
