writes:I have a male friend that is sometimes very talkative and shares a lot of his life with me. Other times it's like he hardly knows me. I think he is moody, but I sometimes take it personally. We were at a party not too long ago (for a mutual friend - not as a couple) and he kissed me on the lips. It was a little more than a peck, but it was not a long romantic kiss. Do you think he likes me? I see him with other girls and he laughs and talks with no problem. He gets tongue tied with me. His inconsistant behaviour has me completely confused. I want to know.  Don't take this the wrong way, but...had he been drinking? You say the kiss was at a party. If he wasn't quite sober he might do things he wouldn't normally do.
The tongue-tied bit is a good sign, though. Do you like this guy? If so, tell him. Find out where he actually stands so you don't have to worry about it. You are both adults and this is the 21st century...it's okay for the woman to make the first move and the question doesn't have to be posed through all the convoluted "ask your friend to ask his friend" channels we all used back in grade school.
