He is being unreasonable and blames me for distracting him

A female United States, anonymous writes:

I would like your opinion on this one. I am in a LD relationship with my bf, but he is down here with me for a week. He told me that he needs to study and that he does not plan on partying which is fine with me; but my brother's wedding is this weekend and we are the bridesmaid and the best man. Now he just canceled his test which was a day after the wedding and he is blaming me for not being able to study down here 'cause he was distracted. This was a shock for me since I thought I was doing everything to not distract him from his studying. I am upset, and very angry 'cause he says I am not being supportive, and that i am not helping him. I am very angry and I really don't know how to handle this situation.

don't be angry and yes he is using you as an excuse for all the time he wasted before hand.

he should have come down for the last couple of days.

he should have studied before coming down.

no he can share the guilt of being laazy and pass it on to you.

i think you just say ok - next time - i wont see you till after the test. no phone sex, and cut down talking to him till afterwards.

i presume he set the timetable for studying?

but really here - he should say he is stupid for wasting his time.
