So i just broke up with my boyfriend about a week ago. I met a guy online shortly after and we met one time and he seemed great. Said hes new to the area but we didnt do anything - no kiss or anything we agreed that we'd, if anything, be friends. he showed me his driver's lisense and employment info just to put my mind at ease about meeting a guy i barely knew. Everything seemed to check out ok.

Well, on our second "date" he surprises me with a couch. yes, a couch. i told my mother and she is freaked out. She said its way too weird and this is dangerous. Said i shouldnt see him anymore.

What do you guys think what should i think?

Im planning on paying him back (or at least trying to) but he claims it was nothing to him to buy it.

help guys I dont want to end up on 48 hours.

LazyGuy agony auntOdd. Drivers licenses in the US, as far as I know, are NOT a valid form of ID by european standards. For that matter, even the far more stringent checks in the EU make drivers license not valid forms of ID.

And employment info, who carries that around with him?

New to the area, what the basement in his old hime was filled up with the ritually slaughtered corpses of young women? Unlikely, they stack pretty well and I haven't had to move in over a decade :P

Seems odd this guy, just how much of a drifter is he and why?

we were going to look at furniture cause he was buying stuff for his place. said he got a good deal for them to add in an extra piece.

its sad because other than that things have been going great it just seems like a red flag.
