writes: i'm having alot of trouble talking to this girl i really love. we dont talk much because she's shy. today i've started teasing her friend sayin short random things. this makes everyone laugh. i'm gettin myself more noticed. any other ideas to talk to her? as this teasing her friend thing is getting old. i just cant talk to her it's too obvious i like he if i approach her!

I would suggest asking some simple, getting to know you questions (whats your favorite movie/band/tv show), this way you'll show her your interested in her likes & find out if you have enough in common to be a couple one day.

If you think that she does then stop teasing her friend, by doing that you are giving out the wrong signals and her friend will think that you are interested in her (not the girl that you really love). If you think that this girl likes you back anyway why don't you just go for it and approach her? As she's shy she will find it harder to talk to you than vice versa. Get a conversation going and so what if she works out that you like her. Especially if she likes you back.

reader, anonymous, writes (15 March 2007): how else is she guna find out....she is probably thinking the same thing. girls prefer it if the guy asks, it makes them feel special. if she is shy, then i have faith in you to ask her when you guys are alone. I wish my crush would ask me out, you see im shy as well. i prefer it if a guy asks me. however, if you follow my information, there could be problems that come from it, such as you getting hurt if she turns you down...but i am always happy to help. so anymore problems just reply to [email removed]
