Hi, this probably sounds really futile but it's even driving me mad the past couple of days! Basically I've been seeing a really lovely guy for the past month or so, he does boxing and he had a really big match the other night. I knew about it since we met and a few weeks ago made up my mind that I would go and support him (even though tickets were mega expensive!) anyway the week before the match he just seemed a bit off with me and i had to keep reminding him about tickets, and because he was so busy instead of meeting me during the week he said he would meet me on the door of the match and give me them then. I spoke to a friend and she suggested maybe he didn't want me to go and that's the reason he was being off, since it's a lot of pressure on him etc so I decided I would text him saying sorry, I don't think I should come as i don't want to see you hurt and I don't want to get in the way of you being with your mates etc. he said don't worry it's fine, but the next day I was gutted cause he won and everyone was congratulating him, then he said he had wanted me there and I explained my reasoning. He said sorry for being off he was just stressed with the build up to the match and I think we are ok now. But today he's barely text me and I'm wondering if he's still annoyed- I want to ask him about meeting this week but I'm scared he'll be funny with me again - i can't decide if I've messed up or he's not that bothered, which would be strange cause he's usually really keen and always the one to arrange seeing each other etc.
