Has he finally given up?

Question - (4 October 2010) 1 Answers - (Newest, 5 October 2010)
A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I'm in high school. There's a guy I've been playing staring games (that he started by trying to flirt with me after mistaking my friendship request as flirting) with since the 8th grade. And since I felt like trying to try again after that, I tried to prance up to him and greet him in a friendly manner but he took it that I was chasing him and he ran away. Because of this, we have never talked, and if we tried to, he was too...strange to make a move. Additions being he liked to preen himself throughout high school(flip his hair, brush his shoulders, etc.) around me to get my attention.

This year I see little to no sign of stares. Maybe I catch him once in a while staring or playing with his bangs when I'm around but other than that he seems to be trying to stop staring at me. Does he still like me and trying not to or does he not anymore?
