writes:I went to a skool for 2 years but then i moved to a different one. Now I have moved up to high school i am meeting up with all my old friends from my old school. Especially one boy. We were really gud freinds and stilla re but when one of my mates asked him out. He is really touchy feely and we are best mates now. I really don't know what to do coz a really really really like him now. Do you think he might just be saying that as he doesn't wanna hurt my feelings?  Well if you wanted to stop thinking about him then hang out with other friends, go party, do hobbies you like but remember if you want to keep him as a friend you can't completely ignore him as that would eliminate your friendship let alone love relationship. You can't really "get someone" to like you, they have to like you for who you are - not who you pretend to be. If you pretend to be something your not, the truth soon comes, it all falls down out and you've lost a friend as well as a boyfriend. Nobody likes the liar. It seems clear that this boy is a good friend but do you really want to gamble a good friendship for nothing? When you’re young it’s probably best to stay as friends as you shouldn't be breaking your heart while you're still at high school. Howether, if you're intent on bagging this boyfriend then first of all you need to find out if he is into you in that way. Maybe get a close friend of his to ask him how he feels about you? I think you say your friend has asked him out for you previously? If he said no then it may not be a good time to push it. Wait until he has forgotten before you try again. If he IS into you, then ask him out, have a date, see how it goes and take it from there. Whatever happens I hope you stay friends :). Hope this helps,Wolf Paws -x-
