A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I had unprotected sex yesterday with my boyfriend and he pulled out RIGHT before he came, none got inside me but some dripped near that region and now I'm worried. What are the chances of getting pregnant over something like that?

well if he took it out then you shouldn't be pregant but you could still get a STI so I would suggest never having unprotected sex and don;t be embarrassed to say to your boyfriend that next time you want to wear a condom :)

Honeygirl agony auntSweetie, go get the 'morning after' pill as a matter of urgency, and dont have unprotected sex! Remember that pre-cum also contains some sperm.. so there could be a possiblity of falling pregnant! Perhaps you and your boyfriend should discuss what form of contaception to use so that you dont have to worry about falling pregant.

I agree with dr Pete. Get the "morning" after pill a.s.a.p, to avoid the risk of pregnancy.

However, please do not have unprotected sex, the risks are to high. Not just pregnancy, but STD's and AIDs.

Rather be safe then sorry.

A reader, anonymous, writes (18 June 2008):

If he pulled out and semen dripped near your region, but didn't end up inside you, then you won't be pregnant.

You should also be worried about pre-cum.

If he had recently ejaculated and then not urinated then it more than likely his pre-cum will also contain sperm.

- If you knew as many people as I do who have ended up pregnant through the withdrawal method you wouldn't practice it again.

If you think his pre-cum could have contained sperm and you don't want to become pregnant then you should consider having the emergency contraceptive pill ASAP.
