This is your lifestyle choice. I would think with this type of arrangement, it should not matter what the proper guidelines of 'conduct and protocol' is? If you are worried about what he thinks then, perhaps you are a bit more emotionally bonded to this fellow than you'd care to be. And that, dear..is where huge emotional costs and reprucussions can affect you. I would rethink this arrangement if I were you.
