I'm in pain from something i've done downstairs and am hoping someone can help me! i have a problem with my foreskin where it would never come over the tip of my penis when erect as it didnt stretch enough, but in the bath the other i managed to force it over. however i cant get it back in any condition. its now 2 days on and its causing me lots of pain. i can go to the toilet happily, but its very sore and the foreskin and constricted around my penis underneath the tip and is causing massive amounts of pain and is extremely sore. I dont want to go to the doctors about it cos im very private and self conscious but soemthing needs to be done. painkillers arent helping and i need to sort it out. i cant sleep cos im in too much pain and i struggle to walk cos its so sore as it rubs. please someone help me. thanks you very much.

A male reader, Harry Castle United Kingdom +, writes (27 June 2009):

Harry Castle agony auntYou need urgent attention and no GP will ever feel embarrassed or make you feel so.

I recommend asking your doctor about using a mild steroidal cream, which will soften your foreskin and could well solve your problem by itself.

Also, Google "tight foreskin" and associated links.

Good luck,

Harry.
