writes:I am a 25 year old man. I have not had sex till now. I have problem with my foreskin. Its tight and I can't pull it when I'm erect. I can pull my foreskin if I'm not erect. I have observed that my foreskin is attached to the tip of the penis and hence causes pain when I try to pull it. Can this cause problem in my sex life ? Should I undergo circumcision ?

Im in exactly in the same situation as you. Im 16 btw.
Ive been to see my doctor and he gave me some of that cream stuff, but it didnt losen it enough.
After doing some research I think I should get circumcized as it is cleaner and u last longer :)
Im just not looking forward to going to see the doctor again, and also the pain after the circumcision

 Circumcision should be your last resort! The foreskin has a purpose, and is best left intact if you possibly can.
I recommendasking your doctor about using a mild steroidal cream, which will soften your foreskin and could well solve your problem by itself.
Also, Google "tight foreskin" and associated links.

 Well it is attatched to the end anyway but sometimes can have too much attatched making it tight and painful, my boyfriend had the same problem when he was younger. Id advice you go talk your problems through with your GP, he will give you more options. Probably circumcision.

reader, anonymous, writes (25 June 2009): The foreskin is supposed to be attached, chan_req. That is called the frenulum. Your problem is that your foreskin is just too tight. See a doctor and ask about which procedure is best or that you might prefer. You can opt for either full circumcision or partial, which simply loosens the forskin. Many men with this problem opt for the latter. Your choice.
