Flirting in the work-place. Is touching allowed or would this send out the wrong message to me?

A male United Kingdom age 51-59, anonymous writes:

Hello. Just a very quick question about how to interpret a co-worker's behaviour. I teased her about something the other day and she reached out as if to touch me on the arm but then withdrew at the very last second. Can I read anything into this? Surely she would either touch me or not even attempt to. Her hesitancy has made me wonder whether she might fancy me. I certainly fancy her. The fact that we are both married is neither here nor there. That's it, really, not a mind-blowing post, was it? Thanks for any thoughts from the married female community!
