writes:Well i dont really want an answer just kinda venting to just get an opinion on what ya'll think of this....Well a lil history for you guys i live with my mom step dad and boyfriend and 3 yr old daughter in a big house like 3bdrms 3btrms dining room 2 living areas and huge kitchen 2 car garage and laundry room just so you have an idea! Well things seem to be goin normal or as normal as they could get in my house, and all of a sudden the main money maker in the house my step-dad just decided that his back hurt and he didnt want to work anymore! Let me tell you i mean this happened so fast it was like a slap in the face, he went from working as a manager of 30+ yrs at John Deere to sitting at home, using a motorized cart at every store we went to only using the handicap parking spaces and wont lift anything, plus uses a cane! My mom dont work, and i dont work right now either i am looking but no one is hiring and it's just a big mess. MY parents have got on food stamps and trying to get workers comp and social security and god knows what else. No one really lifts a finger anymore they just sit on their computers all day and make phone calls and go to there appoinments for benefits!To top things off out of no where they cant afford the house anymore go figure so they are trying to get a 2 bedroom apartment and telling my boyfriend and i that we need to get our own place. Ok my boyfriend has a job but its not enough money for us to leave plus he has no papers he does what he can for us plus he pays my car and is a great father! I think my family doesnt realize that there is an economic crisis right now!!!! Plus i think they are racist against my bf since he is mexican! I am just so stressed and cant believe that anyone would want to just sit around the house and wait to get old and die! Plus my mom is not the same anymore, just is bitter, and a bitch everything makes my parents mad, my bf and i have to walk on eggshells around them. I can't believe that it's come to this and they are pushing us out dont really know what him and i are goin to do i feel like i have no family anymore my parents are like lazy zombies! There are not house for rent around here and if there are they are 600 a month or more and plus bills and all the other stuff included my bf's pay cant cover we are screwed! Well tell me what you ppl think of this tell me if you think my family is abandoning me and i just want to know if you think they are crazy cuz i doLol even the lady at the workers comp. ask my mom and step-dad why they werent working i aint the only one that cant understand it btw my step dads job is a sit down desk job just so yall know

reader, anonymous, writes (7 May 2009): Stop complaining, they put a roof over your damn head for the time you lived there. Grow up get a job. You dont know what your dad feels like. Im sure he is in pain. tell your boyfriend to get a better job, im sure you guys can find a place to rent cheap. o wait go on section 8. based off of your income. you say all day they sit on their ass, what do you do?? give your parents a break. im a mom and i know what taking care of a child is like and i dont give you sympathy. personally its not to be mean, but someone had to tell you w/out candy coating it. good luck
