writes:I just started to date my ex really good friend and when he told him, my ex totally flipped and couple of days later, asked him to choose between him and me. Given 20 year friendship, he had to choose my ex. Right now we are trying to find the best solution. We both tried talking to ex who is 35, and it doesn't work.

 He didn't have to choose your ex over you, he didn't have to choose period. He is your EX that doesn't mean a life long commitment to his stupid demands that means it's over. You have every right to date whom ever you choose and so does your new guy. Tell the ex to blow it out his rear he can get over it for a 35 year old he sure is immature.
