writes:i have started taking the pill and just had a question. i know the pill is not effective if you vomit while taking it but what if you vomit during the 7 pill free days does this have any effect on protection.Do i just wait until the 7 days are over and start my new pack.? it does say anything in the leaflet about this.Thanks

 No, that shouldn't be a problem. Depending on the type of birth control you are taking, those 7 day pills may or may not contain an iron supplement (some women are prone to anemia and lose iron when they menstruate). Mainly, those pills are just there to keep you in the habit of taking the birth control at the same time everyday. Just keeping taking them on schedule. Contact your Doctor too just in case!
