Question - (13 February 2009) 1 Answers - (Newest, 13 February 2009)
A male United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I really like this girl, and we have been freinds for a year and a half. about 5 months ago we started going out, however it ended in about a month. She was very distressed over her ex boyfreind at the time and he took advantge of the situation. I used to be freinds with this jerk, but he really hurt her. Me and her talk for at least 2 hours a night, and are way closer than her and her boyfreind are. She even tells me this, but why is she still with him?

Its blatantly obvious that he is with her because he doesnt wanna be alone. For some reason he hasnt made a sexual advance on her, even though I know hes a horny pig! Even I've gotten further than that peice of trash!

Anyways, About a week ago, I told her how I really feel, and she has been very open about herself since. She even told me that "shes been haveing thoughts about me that girls with boyfrieds shouldnt have about other men". Tonight however was completely unexpected

. She out of nowhere confessed to me everything about her life that nobody else knows, and most of which is pretty shocking and deeper than things she previously told me. She also made it extremely clear that absolutely nobody knows about what she told me, eeven her lousy boyfreind. She says that she loves him, but i dont think she means it. Why is she telling me these things? Am I too deep in the freinds zone? Does she want me over her boyfreind?I love her and only want her to be happy! What is going on!!!

lovelynightmare agony auntIt sounds like she had a real catharsis (outpouring of emotion), and she may not be thinking as rational, just stand back for a bit (unless she still wants to talk) and let her sort things out. And if she decides for the worse in the end, try to move on the best you can.
