Does my friend (married to female) have unusual gay tendencies?

Question - (26 January 2009) 3 Answers - (Newest, 30 January 2009)
A male United States age 36-40, anonymous writes:

My friend is a bodybuilder at the gym I work out at. He have a pretty wife that works out there as well. He tells me he has anal sex with her most of the time - which is not ofter (every few weeks). He always complements me I my ass (I am a male - and find this weird) - he always says that he thinks people are looking at his ass - and comments to them "stop looking at my ass" - he gooeses some of his male friends and is always making comments about their butt whole. This is at best childish, but it seems like there may be more to it. I have seen him spot people (men) squatting during weight lifting, and he will press himself - at crotch level - up against them to get them to lift the weight. All his jokes and comments seem to make fun of the gay community - but I wonder if there is more to this pre occupation - and thoughts?

A reader, anonymous, writes (30 January 2009):

He seems to have an anal obsession. I don't know if I'd drop him but if he makes you uncomfortable maybe ask him to ease off on the ass references. He probably is bi-curious but as long as he respects your boundaries it's no reason to end the friendship.

This is verified as being by the original poster of the question

I only cared because he was a friend - I am going to drop him. BTW he also seems to have an obsession with farting - even in fancy restruants when we are on dates with wives - and he is pushing 40. I agree - one to drop.

TELLULAH agony auntOne thing! Why do you care if he does or not?

I have to say that he is acting odd, but then it could be just a huge joke to him. It could also be that he can see that it's making you uncomfortable, and finds it funny.

If you dont like the way he talks to you or the things he says to others, then drop him as a mate. Because a true friend would not make you feel like this.
