writes:I was on the phone to my friend last night. We're very close and he's one of my best friends. He kept saying to me how he thinks I'd be the best girlfriend ever and how he loves me and cares about me. He's already got a girlfriend though so I kept saying he shouldn't say things like that and I just laughed it off. He was being serious though and was like "so I knew you before I knew my girlfriend". I'm just wondering if he has feelings for me or not?? He's once said how he's got a soft spot for me.

Could you trust him, knowing what he is capable of when in a relationship?
What he is doing is emotional cheating with tendancies to fully cheat.
Not a very trustworthy guy. And if he was indeed a friend, he would not be telling you what he feels and pull you into his cheating on his GF by giving you knowledge of his 'true feelings'.
He's very dishonest and self motivated.
I say, stop the late night calls and when he cannot act like a trusted friend- hang up on him.
Otherwise cut him out from phone calls texts until he can behave honourably.
