He did say i'm falling for you big time but that was about three to four weeks ago and he's never said anything like that since!!I feel so insecure about how he feels and I don't want to directly ask him in case I scare him away too soon...

Yes I don't blame you for wanting to avoid the nosy people of facebook, I simply only used that to get an idea how serious this situation is between you and him.

Yes I'm very insecure. When I start to feel something, this is how I feel. I analyse.
He does call me his girlfriend to people.
Neither of us have changed our relationship status on facebook, although I'm not too bothered about this as I don't want everyone knowing just yet and if anything goes wrong - everyone is on your case when it ends!

He told you he's falling for you good, and then told you he loves you, I think he probably feels the same as you do for him, but he's going with the flow of things day by day, where as you're worrying about things too much.
Does he class you as his girlfriend?
Have you got "in a relationship" with each other on facebook?
